C84 with custom PSU and case

Postby G-Sun » Sun Dec 04, 2011 8:10 am

Hi!

I'm tempted to buy a pair of C84.
A few questions:

- Will they fit horizontally in a 1U case?
- How much is the current draw (mA) of each (eg 18V)?

I'm thinking of pairing them up with a JLM AC/DC Ver. 4 kit and a 1U case,
secondary a 2U case/half width case.

Thanks!

..and why does it always seem so expencive to ship SCA stuff internationally? (compared with other online shops).
$189 for 2 x C84 -that's a lot

Really a dealbreaker..

Yes.

Budget 100mA per rail. You'll need +/-27VDC to get maximum headroom

why does it always seem so expencive to ship SCA stuff internationally?

We only ship UPS. If you find the quote prohibitively expensive, you might try a forwarding service such as shipito.com

Seems a little backward to send it through shipito.com, but yes, it will decrease cost a lot :)
