Source for more knobs?

Postby niccolo » Tue Jul 14, 2009 3:03 am

Hey,
I thought that maybe one way to differentiate the modules from each other in the chassis could be using different knobs for each type of amp.
Where would you start looking?

thanks

I've been looking for knobs too. I'm actually interested in color coded knobs just to help me know which pre I'm adjusting. I've made some dumb mistakes turning the knobs on the wrong channel.

I just started building my second rack of SCA pre's. (2 N72, 3 A12, 2 J99 and 1 C84). Finished the first 2 N72's tonight. I ordered some colored knobs from small bear electronics:

I'll see how they work out and post the results here.

Hey Niccolo,
I order those knobs and just finshed my second rack. The knobs are on the small side but totally usable.

I think they are going to help me a lot in the confusion department...

Red are N72, Blue ar A12, Yellow are J99, Green are T15, White is a C84 and there is a D11 for good measure!

Hey, thanks a lot for reporting back! And greetings for completing a second rack, they look awesome.
For what is worth, my color scheme would be:
n72 blue
a12 red
j99 white/cream

:D

gotta place an order for these knobs..
