SC25 Opt Amp Biasing

Postby jason baliban » Fri Dec 10, 2010 10:02 pm

I am at the point where I am doing this fine adjustment...

"Adjust R16 until this voltage drops to 0V. Wait for the op-amp to come up to working temperature, about 15 minutes or so..."

My question is what should the gain and trim levels be set at while doing this adjustment. I notice when i move either the voltage changes quite a bit. What should be my baseline knob settings?

For others wondering the same thing, here is Tim's response...

"Adjust for minimum offset at the gain setting you'll use most often. If you don't know what that is yet, adjust at step 6 or 7."
