turning on and off the pre - phantom power first or main sw?

Is it best to switch off each individual phantom switch on each channel and then the main power switch? Does it make a difference? And what about turning it back on - any problem using the main switch if the phantom switches are already set? Thanks.

Nope. But you should have your monitors muted/off while switching preamps on and off.
