trouble with biasing rev 3.6

Postby packagebear » Tue May 25, 2010 5:15 pm

Hi,

I'm trying to do the last few steps to adjust the input bias current, and i'm not 100% sure I have it right.

At steps 42+44 I am only getting a dcv reading of 0 on each extreme of the SW1 without adjusting R43. Is this correct?

I am using the AD797 opamps and I have sockets mounted to the pcb and then the 797 placed in the socket.

Any ideas? or am I good so far.

thanks
kris

If the voltage is the same at either extreme of SW1, move on.
