Two new C84's online

Both went together without a hitch. The hardest part was trying to identify all the resistors. For some reason there was one 20K resistor extra in each kit. Is there a reason for this? Also, the voltage at the R8 - R9 junction read 11.8VDC on one pre and 12.3 on the other. The assembly instructions say I should see between 13 and 14 VDC.
I haven't done any recording with them yet, but have hooked them up to my Peluso stereo pair of SDC's and made various sounds in the room. The gain steps are matching up pretty good between the pre's, and the sound is very detailed. Can't wait to do some recording with them.
