think I have a dud SC25 *solved*

Hi,

I have just built a pair of A12s with a pair of SC25s.
One of the SC25s is non-functional.
It doesn't pass signal, the 'south' side of it gets very hot over about a minute after powering up and I measure 5.6VDC between pins 4 and 6.
It behaves like this in either A12.

The other SC25 works fine in either A12.

Should I send it in?
Or perhaps I can open it up and replace something inside?
I'm OK with a soldering iron, I've made two N72s and two C84s without a hitch.

cheers,
Roy
