N72 and J99's finished! - custom chassis - with DI & VU

Hello there,

I'm just too pleased to let you know the mic pres I'm building are finally finished :D
It took a lot of work to get them into a non SCA chassis. But it's worth it.

The preamps sound very nice... I still have to do some serious testing... but for now I like what I'm hearing.
To use the DI with the N72 is really lovely... it makes a bassguitar sounds great :D.

Some piccies to prove it:

If you want to see some more photos: http://www.mijnalbum.nl/Album=BYAQJJBQ (you can click on the photos to get a bigger picture... it says so in Dutch;-)

The preamps: SCA N72 & J99
Power supplies, DI kit & VU buffer: JLM
The case: Schroff
Front panel: Schaeffer Geraetebau (Germany)

Let me know what you think of them...

If they sound half as good as they look, an excellent job!

Regards!
