Pads and Phantom Power

Hi,
I had a question about using external pads with condenser mics.
When you apply a pad after the phantom power supply, you will lose some voltage to run the mic. (with a 10db pad it ends up being around 3 volts, at 20db its 10v). Has anyone run into a problem with some condensers not working right with this much voltage missing?

I've used 10 and 20 db pads with AT4047's and SM81's and couple of other condensors with each of these pre's and haven't had a problem.
