A12 - when?

I'd like to order an A12 full kit - when should that be available?

DigiKey says that they will finally, finally ship tomorrow, 7/16. Full kits will be shipping next week. Of course, you can place an advance order if you like.

How much is the full kit for pre-order, and what is required extra (e.g. if we don't want to use the hybrid op-amp what else can we get?)

Also, are instrutions included? Some of the online pages don't load right.

The A12 full kit will be $259, not including an op-amp. The easiest thing to do at this point is buy a discrete op-amp from Avedis (Brent Averill), John Hardy, or Millennia. The cheapest thing to do is use an IC op-amp mounted on a piece of perfboard.

The kits include schematics and a parts list, but no step-by-step instructions. The on-line instructions will be updated by the time the full kits ship.
