Op Amp Question

I am considering building a couple J99s. What's the deal with the op amps?
Do they come with the kit or do I go elsewhere - John Hardy for his 99s?

Yup John Hardy 990C's are what I used.

I like the j99's alot!!! I use them for overheads bass and vox... Huge clean tone and I used the hardy 990c's

do you get buzz at high settings for the j99? which ps do you have 02 or 03?

No hum on mine. PS03, pres in the last two slots of the chassis. I don't think I've ever recorded anything that required me turning the gain up past halfway though.
I do have hum on one of my N72s and no phantom on another one....too lazy to pull out of the rack and troubleshoot. Dangit.
