Adding a new module to completed chassis

Postby greg_i » Mon Sep 05, 2011 10:39 pm

Hi Tim/gang, I had 2 N72s made up for me a couple of years back. My tech did all the work on module and chassis assembly. It's been flawless and sounds great.

I bought a second hand A12 module from a guy on eBay a couple of weeks back. It arrived today and appears to be a good build.

I'll be looking to add it to the chassis in the next day or two and would appreciate a quick head's up on the process. I've had a quick look at the chassis assembly instructions, just hoping that someone can give me a dunce's outline of what needs to happen in order to get the module functional. I'm guessing it's a matter of mounting the module to the chassis, then connecting the module to the power supply. Is there any soldering required?

Thanks in advance,
Greg

There should be no soldering or crimping required as long as you have a WH01. The chassis assembly instructions show an older version of the chassis/power supply, but the process is the same.
