chasis and d11 module

Postby hottlungs » Sat May 24, 2008 8:56 am

first off, let me start off by saying i love my seventh circle audio gear. i own 2 N72 modules and i think they are fantastic. i just recently got my d11 module in the mail and i started working on it yesterday. populating the board is never a problem for me, but i always have the hardest time getting my modules into the chasis. is the d11 board too big for the chasis? i drilled out the holes for the 1/4" jacks on the front panel and i took the entire front plate off, but it really seems like the board doesn't sit in as nicely as my other modules did. even when the front and back of the module are flush against the front and back of the chasis, the board sits at a slight angle and i am having a hard time reattaching the front panel because the board is taking the front panel out of line with the screw holes that are used to attach the front panel to the chasis. could this be because i installed it in the far right module slot? is it harder at that end? let me know.

I have 2 D11's in my chassis and they both seem to be slightly bent when the front panel is screwed on. It's not the best fit but it seems to work.
