Solder front tabs on toggle switches?

The C84 instructions say to solder all the pins on these two switches. Each has rear pins and also two tabs on the front that fit into holes in the circuit board that do not have solder pads. Do these front "pins" need to be soldered too? Or only the rear 3 pins and rear 6 pins of the two switches.

Please help. I'm not getting answers from SSA support line, probably because they are busy getting ready for AES in SF.

I stuck a blob of solder on each of them for mechanical support. There's no harm in it.
