C84 voltages

I finished my first c84, and everything's good except my voltages at pin 8 of my opamps. U1 pin 8 is 9v and U3 pin 8 is 42.5 v any thoughts? everything else seems ok.

just finnished my second c84, and the same thing, now I'm getting about 40 v on U3 pin 8, and about 9 v on U1 pin 8, the other voltages seem fine. any suggestions?

just saw a spark shoot out of my open ch01 the power supply stopped working!! Help!!!

Whatever you're doing, stop. Either you're not making measurements correctly or you've made a big mistake, possibly both. Disconnect the PS03 from the modules and apply power. Do the LEDs light?

Is the fuse blown? Remove the AC power cord before you attempt to remove the fuse.

I'm not in front of my kits right now, but I hope it's just the fuse. What kind of fuse is it? BTW, I was checking the voltages with the molex connector closest to me from the second pin from the right with the negative lead, and pin 8 of each opamp socket, is this wrong??? Ahhhhh!!!!!!!!

3A, time delay, 5x20mm. You can get all the info on any component by searching for the part numbers at the distributors web sites, or by using Google.

Sorry, but you might as well be speaking Swahili. When making voltage measurements, the best place for the negative meter probe is pin 2 of the power connector. On the C84, the power connector is J3. Pin 1 is indicated by the square PCB pad, and is the frontmost pin when the module is installed in the chassis.

I was measuring at pin 5 not pin 8. oops. Thanks for all of your help Tim, I can't wait to install the opamps and give these pre's a whirl (should be better than my mackies.)
