Um, what's that smell?

So after going 11 for 11, I powered up #12, a C84, and started checking the voltages. They looked weird. Then I noticed smoke. Sigh. R75 is burned, and C35 was bubbling electrolyte (never a good thing.)

After much head scratching, I realized that I had plugged the power connector in upside down at the supply end, d'oh! So everything was getting the wrong voltages at the wrong polarity.

I'm guessing that D9 and D12 did their job and blocked the bad electrons, but C35 and R75 sacrificed themselves for the cause.

Tim, any chance that I blew up anything else? I turned off the phantom power switch (thus isolating the burned components) and got normal voltages at U1 and U3, and could adjust them just fine.

I guess I'll need a couple of parts, I'll send email.

One more thing that folks need to be careful of!
