Gain Pot Clicking
Posted: Tue Sep 30, 2008 4:17 pmJust built two c84's one works great the other the gain pot is clicking when you turn it and at about the halfway point it stops passing signal. any ideas/tips?
Re-flow the solder joints at the rotary switch.
Make sure you have the right resistors installed around U3.
Measure the voltage at U3, pin 1 and U3, pin 7 as you increase gain. Compare to the voltages on the working C84.
