Resistors in the servo trim

Postby lydformidleren » Sun Jan 22, 2012 2:50 am

Hi

I've just started building my first A12 preamp, and I'm nearly finnished with soldering the resistors. But when I came to resistors 14 through 20 I became aware of the new servo trim, and i thought this looked like a good idea.

So my question is this:
When I'm doing the servo, and have an SC25 op-amp, is the only resistors I need then R18 and R19? (Of 14 through 20) And in the case of R19, which is a 1M00 resistor that is not suplied, I have a 1M00 resistor that is carbon film, will it be ok, or should I order a metal-film resistor?

I hope this question is understandable

I try again, I have the Rev 1.7 board, and I want to make the servo build, but seeing as it involves a lot of components that are optional I think I'm going for the trim version, where all the components are suplied.

If anyone still wants to correct me, or assure me that I was right, fell free.

The parts you need to install for the optional servo are listed on the first page of the schematic as well as page 17 of the assembly instructions. They are not included in the kit, but are easy enough to get from Mouser, DigiKey, or your local supplier.
