A12 and D11 rocks

Hi Folks,
I just finished my last A12.
I must say the D11 AND A12 fits perfectly for my bass and my RME card. For those who wander if it will change something in their set-up is YES it's a lot better than the DI and pre in my fireface 400.
I tried the A12 with my sans amp Bass di and the D11 make a real difference. With the sans-amp at inactive mode I was just able to push the preamp at 6 or 7 out of 12 and I was missing the HOT sound. But with the D11 I can push the gain up to 10 without distorting the input of my RME.
I'm new to top end preamp but I can say that my bass sounds more "even" ?!? and the mid range is punchier and thicker. Compared to cheap preamp, it cut some bass and hi to leave an incredible rich sound.
Construction is easy and fun but you have to stay focus.
I recommend those pre to anyone who want to upgrade their studio.
