Seventh Circle Audio

Just built my first A12 everything went great and I can't speak highly enough about the kit. My question is how important is it for the voltage of the regulators to be set to +-16v for the 25 OP AMP? right now i have it set to the lowest click (i guess that would be +-14) i dont exactly trust the DMM i have (its a cheap radioshack one) obviously the simple solution would be to just get a better DMM which i plan on doing but everything sounds good to me, is it simply an issue of maximum gain for each specific op amp? thanks...

As mentioned in step 35, +/-18V is a good starting point for the SC25. If you're using an original 2520, use +/-16V. With good ventilation the SC25 will withstand +/-24V indefinitely if you really need that much headroom for some reason.
