A12 circuit board revisions

I noticed my newest A12 is layed out different. I haven't built it yet. Is this version going to sound different from my old ones? It says it 1.6.1 on the new one and my old ones are like 2005/06 era. Also... Does the sc10 only work with the most revised board?

The rev 1.6 and later boards support a DC servo in addition to the manual offset trim and also have slow ramping phantom switching. The amplifier circuit itself hasn't changed and all of the previous components are carried over. We use them interchangeably with the older versions. The only difference you'll notice in use is the reduced thump if you forget to mute while switching phantom.

The SC10 works fine on either board.
