J3 and J4

J3 and J4 are further apart from each other than on the N27 and A12. i don't see how to jumper these the way the others do. according to the instructions the default way is to shunt pins 2 and 3 together. it doesn't look like you can do this with the jumpers supplied.

i'm using the latest board rev. 3.4 i believe. the distance between the the two headers is about an eighth of an inch. on the A12 and N72 the headers are right next to each other. how are people bridging the gap?

You should connect the jumpers as described in step 10, usually bridging pins 2 and 3 so that XLR pin 1 is connected to chassis ground. You don't install the jumpers so they "bridge the gap" between J3 and J4 like you're trying to do. The same goes for the rest of the modules as well.

ok, i guess that wasn't clear to me before. setting the jumpers is always been a bit challenging.

so, what is the effect of setting it the way i did on the other modules? floating? i'm not hearing any hum or noise.
