Up and running on the first try!

Just wanted to post that I assembled 2 N72s last week in probably less than 5 hours (I assembled them side by side) and they both tested well within range on all of the transformers once I dialed in the bias. I had no issues, other than double checking the schematics to verify the inclusion of the of the 4 inductors into Rev 3.3.1.

For anyone out there doubting their ability to put this together, it's quite simple, as long as you follow the instructions carefully and take your time.

More importantly, although I've only tried them on drum overheads, along with two A12Bs on kick and snare, they sound brilliant. Very full and round, lots of harmonic content.

The A12Bs sound killer as well. I AB'd them to an API 3124+ and I'd say the A12Bs certainly do the API thing as well as, if not better than the real deal.

Next up is my B16...
