N72 Voltage Issues

Greetings new friends,

First time builder, here.

Matt is my name.

Anyone have any suggestions on where to begin troubleshooting?

Here are my Transistor Measurements.

Q1 - 4.03, 2.57, 2.01
Q2 - 13.4, 4.03, 3.41
Q3 - 22.16, 13.4, 12.79
Q4 - 2.13, 0.95, 0.39
Q5 - 23.72, 2.13, 1.57
Q6 - 23.72, 1.57, 1.00

First, you seem to be missing the voltage for C of Q6. Should be same as C of Q5.

Second, and not to be discouraging, that is a very poor looking assembly job. It may pass a signal, but if it arrived at the shop we would immediately scrap it for parts. If you have a PS03/4 or a OneShot, look at those boards to see how leads should be formed and parts mounted.

Q6 C= 23.72v

I didn't realize that the Collector was the casing. Oops.


So, my first step in troubleshooting would be....?

Also, do the four blue inductors do anything, now, in the one shot situation?
I have yet to find anything written on those components.


I'm going to try to re-flow some joints, and re-fancy some components, so they look more aesthetically pleasing, whilst I wait for a response.
