SCA modules vs. Amek 9098

Postby cwalcott » Tue May 15, 2007 8:41 am

my primary mic pre is an amek 9098. the rest are the built in pre's on my d8b desk (which suck.)

i was wondering if anyone has experience with the 9098 and can draw a similar comparison to one of the SCA pre's. my overall take on the 9098 is that it's very clean with little or no coloration.

thanks!

If memory serves, the 9098 uses a circuit topology similar to that of the C84.
