The Best Way to Approach This...Or...What Should I Order?

i'm interested in finally making the jump...but this is how i'd like my chassis eventually to be set up and i was trying to see what is the best way to do this and the most cost effective.

i'd like my chassis to be set up with 4 channels of the n72 and four channels of the a12 (when it finally comes out...can't wait!!!)

while i'm still deciding whether to get one of the kits or the complete versions...would the version of SCA 472 (whether kit or complete) allow for expansion with the a12 down the road? how is the silkscreening on the faceplate handled? is the silkscreening on those kits strictly for the n72? or are the values on the front more generic for any of the pre-amp models that you sell?

keep up the great work...word is really starting to get around on you guys.

The screening on the front panel is generic, numbered 1-12 on the gain selector, and no units marked on the fader.

Just specify that you want the PS02 power supply - the N72 doesn't need it, but the J99 and A12 do. (The PS01 provides +27 and +48, the PS02 provides +27,-27 and +48 ) .

I've got one N72 in mine, and two nearly completed J99's on the bench, waiting for a few small parts back-ordered from DigiKey, and I plan to have one of the first A12's.

I'd planned to build just one J99, then I got the notion to build one fully loaded with Hardy 990 op amps and Jensen output transformer, and the other with the hybrid op amps and no output transformer. I can't wait to compare them.
