Taking out the Stop pin...How?

One of my C84s have the stop pin at the wrong spot.
It is usable but bothers me like hell..

I have done a search for this and read some posts.
So far, I have tried using a magnet and it did not work.

What are my other options?
Someone mentioned buying an adhesive etc...
But, it almost seems buying a new trim would be cheaper and easier...

Should I just order replacement parts form Tim and be done with this?

I have solder sucker and solder wick but Gain Pot seems to have lots and lots of soldered pins.
WIll it be a pain to remove?

What do you guys suggest?

If you can't get the stop pin out any other way, I'd suggest disassembling the switch "in place". Carefully remove the small nuts at the rear of the switch and pry the front plate off with a thin blade. Removing the switch from the board without a heat gun or solder pot is not recommended.
