Out of my league?

Hi.

I have heard good things about your pre's and look forward to ordering one or two kits but I'm a little apprehensive about my soldering skills.
Would you happen to offer a supplemental video for those of us less gifted in DIY electronics.
I consider myself a beginner with electronics, but would really like the chance to build one of these things from 'scratch.' What are some caveats you've seen inexperienced people run into when trying to build one of these pre's?

Also, I was wondering if you were ever planning to produce any DIY compressors / limiters?

thanks!!!

Video?

Uh, no video, no. Whose board do you think you're posting on, Digidesign's? :) Really, there are tremendous resources available on the net for anybody who wants to learn about electronics, but it's not necessary to know a lot in order to successfully build one of our kits. If you want to improve your soldering skills, I'd suggest buying a piece of copper clad perfboard and a grab bag of resistors from your local electronics store. Practice your soldering technique until you're comfortable, and then try your hand at a kit.
