J99 Kit

Postby tele_player » Thu Feb 26, 2004 2:28 pm

Well, I'm waiting for the ordering page to stop saying 'Out Of Stock', I was hoping to build a box starting with an N72 and J99, and add a few more later. I'm ready to push the button.

but I'd have to scrounge up the parts for the J99 :(

getting the parts for the J99 is a piece of cake - it's the chassis that we all need :) Apparently tim's got parts for the n72, just no chassis at this point.

J99, chassis, etc.

Well, I finally got my hands on a few chassis yesterday. They're built like tanks, and the panels are perfect. Unfortunately, the power supply transformer shields are too small. It's definitely the fabricator's screwup, but it'll take a few more days to correct. Almost there...

All the parts for the J99 are readily available from DigiKey, Jensen, and K&K audio, who distribute Lundahl transformers in the U.S. We're definitely going to offer a full kit at some point, but it'll be a few months before that happens.

The A12 is looking (and sounding) really good, and they'll be available as minimal kits in a few weeks. Complete kits will be available a few weeks after that.
