Just finished my stand alone N72!

Here is the standalone N72 I just built. This is a prototype so it looks a little rough. The rear panel is not attached because I used an un-altered N72 module, and it is shorter than the chassis. In the final version the XLR outputs would be mounted on the rear panel and not on the N72 module itself. On the final version I will add a DI input on the front panel.
What do you think?

Looks nice. What are you using for a power supply? Are you planning on having any ventilation?

Powered by an external 48v AC adapter and run into a JLM Audio TREX power supply that can generate the needed 27v for the pre. Since it uses an external AC adapter, there really isn't much heat that I have noticed.

few questions on your enclosure

is that a hammond enclosure? model number?
is there a similar enclosure that will house 2 modules?
did you drill the front panel yourself? where did you get the pattern?
if you solder the xlr connectors mounted on the rear panel to the board, what will you do if you have to remove the module for service?
is the board held in place only by the front panel pots or is it screwed into the bottom of the enclosure?
i'd like to do a two channel unit like this but the enclosure is the most challenging thing for me.
i think something battery powered would be even more portable but i haven't figured out whether to do a dc/dc or just use 4 9v batteries and regulate down.
