Seventh Circle Audio

I am considering buying a used C84 unit built into the chassis etc. from a local music store here in Ottawa. The price seems pretty good compared to new ($500 all together) but I have no previous experience with these units other than ready numerous positive reviews.

I am hoping someone can recommend me some diagnostics to help make sure I don't end up with a poorly assembled or malfunctioning unit. Any advice is appreciated.

If you don't feel qualified to open the chassis and inspect the assembly, the store should be willing to refer you to a local tech who can. Check the C84 assembly instructions for details on basic functional testing. You'll need a decent DVM at least.
