I was shooting around the good ol' interwebs searching for a good DIY mic kit. There's many companies doing pre's, but curiously enough, I only found 1 DIY mic kit. It's here: www.diymic.com and I was wondering if any one experienced with tube mics could guesstimate what this may be similar to? The forum was no help in determining sound or possible character. I'm a little unsure if I want to wait for it to come back in stock, but $130 doesn't seem bad...
Any way, thoughts anyone?
