Phantom Power Oddities

Hey Tim

Been tracking away with my new pres when I realised that mic cables that I've bought will phantom power a mic without an issue, whereas those I've made won't...

I can't work out why this would be, any clues?

Most likely pin 1 isn't connected correctly.
