preamp installation order

I'm soon going to have an eight channel seventh circle rack, with two of each flavor of preamp. here's my question: in what order should I install them? I realize it's very subjective question--two factors I can think of that might apply are: 1) proximity to the power supply (are some preamps more susceptible to noise, or are the applications they're typically used for--ie loud stuff--make any noise more tolerable?), and 2) putting them in order of "color" (ie C84 on one side, N72 on the other?). just wondering if anyone has any opinions/ideas before I rack 'em up.

I'm probably over-thinking this by a mile--they'll still sound great, anyway I stack them...

You should be able to install the modules in any order you like. If you have noise problems, something is wrong.
