How about modding the D11 to be one channel of DI and one channel of dedicated reamp with impedance matching a guitar pickup? Would that be practical? It would be amazing and a lot more useful for me than 2 channels of DI.

Sure, it's practical. But if you want to make mods to the board, you're on your own.
