Impedance for a Presicion bass

Which must be the impedance seting to connect a presicion bass, this is the same for a guitar? Which sources correspond with which settings?

The question isn't guitar or bass, but passive or active pickups. Passive pickups will generally sound better running into high impedances. If you use active pickups exclusively, you may get lower noise with the 10K jumper setting. No setting is wrong, however. Use whatever sounds best with your instrument.
