No, that wasn't a competition! I got rolling on the module and it went together very smoothly. It passed the "twice over" eyeball test (under magnification), and then it passed the power up tests. I assembled the chassis in about an hour, then connected an AT4050 to the mic in, and my Korg MR1000 to the line out, powered the T15 up, turned on the phantom power and had a listen. It was working perfectly! It is quiet, smooth, detailed, lots of headroom, and I am happy! I plan to build another T15 very soon, and soon after that I want to add two C84's to the chassis.
Tim, you make a wonderful product. It's beautifully designed, very robust, very well thought out, and it sounds terrific. I really liked the little touches you added to the kit. The resistors were presented in order, you included the lead bending tool, and there were extra screws, extra zip ties, and most of all - very clear and complete instructions and BOM.
Thank you so much!
