Adding an input transformer

I am about to add some T15's to my existing SC lineup.
Wondering what, if any, advantages there might be in adding an input transformer to this pre.
I already have the transformers, so additional cost is not a factor.

Thanks.

There aren't really any advantages, but you may prefer the problems caused by the transformer to the problems caused by the phantom blocking caps. See this data sheet at Jensen: http://www.jensen-transformers.com/datashts/mbca.pdf

Love this answer.

Life's just that way, isn't it?

I have a pair of mbca's that I would like to experiment with. What CAPs/circuity would I remove/bypass from the t15 schematic?
