t15 not working at all

I did a similar thing that you did with one of my T15s. After getting new ICs it all works fine. If you don't have a desoldering station (and many people don't) do what Tim said and clip the IC leads and de-solder them from there. But enjoy your T15s they're an amazing amount of pre-amp for the money - plus you get better at DIY for doing them!

and finally put it in place. it took long cause i was looking for cheap ways to ship a 5$ ic for less then 40$ for shipment...

anyways- i am now very happy with this!!
first of all the level jumped a few good db's up
second- the frequency response and dynamics changed totaly!
it now has a very clear mid and highs and the dynamic range pretty much doubled itself!!
