Powering up.

I just completed the switch/light buildup/installation.

Two questions:

1. Is the toothed washer supposed to go under the outside nut?

2. Can I power the power supply up without having any module connected so I can test the voltage on the ribbon cable and make sure the led is connected properly? (I will be building them on Sunday, I hope)

Thanks,

Roberto

It doesn't hurt anything to use it outside, but we usually use it inside for a cleaner appearance. We also bend the outer indexing tab on the large inside washer so it prevents the inside nut from turning.

Yes, the PS03 will produce correct voltages even with no load. It's also a good idea to inspect the WH01 to make absolutely sure there are no crossed wires.
