I am done except OPAMPS but C21. C27, C47, C48, C39 empty and I have some extra items;
1 X 15K Resistor (Brown, Green Orange, Gold)
4 X 100pF ceramic Caps left over.
Check out the pictures;

Oh, the J3 shows 1 at the DMM on every setting of resistance measurements.
So, I am OK right? If the meter went below 100Ohms that would mean short the instructions says.
So, Am I OK there?

Maybe I misunderstand you, but a reading of 1 ohm is way less than 100 ohms.
Also, you mention some caps are 'empty', but you have several left over. What's that about?

A lot of DMMs display a "1" for being over scale (which is what you would expect with high resistance on a low range.)

So, does this mean I'm OK and should/Can I apply power?
My PSA03 is almost here.
It is coming on my Birthday. November 2nd.

OK, I did every step of the instructions w/o missing a step?
And... both of my C84s have same amount of caps left over.
I checked the steps none of them mentions those left over caps.
So, should I check the BOM an if they are mentioned I should add them?

OK. After going over the instructions, I found out that it says...
DO NOT INSTALL ANYTHING ON C39.
So, that's out.
However, no mention of the others (
C21. C27, C47, C48)
I checked the pisture and saw that C21 and C27 is installed but weirdly... THere are resistors in the same place of where C47 and C48 should be.
Are there more than 1 revision of the C84 PCB?
This is really confusing.....

I'd bet your 4 extra caps are C21, C27, C47 and C48.

Their values match. But the picture on the site has resistors at that same spot. And.... No mention of them at the instructions.
Could it be that the PCB has more than 1 revisions?

Could be a revision, I haven't seen these myself yet. But I'd trust the schematic and BOM more than the instructions.
The instructions mention not installing C39, but I didn't find a C39 in the BOM or schematic...

It
might be a revision.
Tim did not say anything So I will follow the BOM and add those 4 caps.
The left over resistor still is a mistery though.
Noone seems to say anything, So is it just me?
My Rack Chassis and my power supply should be here on November 2nd.
That is what UPS tracking says....
Nov. 2nd is also my birth day.

The BOM calls for two 15k resistors, R67 and R71. Did you install them?
The BOM and schematic are authoritative. Typically, the schematic, BOM and board layout are generated from the same file, and are less prone to error than whatever's included in a kit or in written instructions.

I see the confusion, C21, C27, C47, and C48 are not called out explicitly in the instructions, though you can see them in the photo in step 6. You can also see an empty C39 in the photo in step 9. Updated instructions are on the server now.

Thanks Tim.
Updated instructions look much better now.

wow interesting way of putting it.
