c84 high noise floor

I recently finish the construction of a c84 rev 1.6. I biased it correctly, and have moved it as far away from the power supply as i can, however it still is generating a good deal of noise. though it does pass audio through. any ideas?

Hi ronny,
I'll tell you right now, I'm not much help in technical things, but I will try to help anyway.
Check if your AD converter is set correctly, because when I had noise issues with my preamp (all of them) it was because I had the wrong modes set on my Lynx. Basically, you should check if you experience the noise problem with other preamps.
