I just built my first 2 A12s and I thought I would point out, if you need to drill the pc board with a mini drill to get the leads from the diodes to pass through, (I did), make sure you solder them well so the solder flows through the plate-thru, otherwise, you will have a bad connection and the unit will not work. My local tech found the problem in a few minutes but it wasn't really obvious to a beginner like me. Otherwise, beautiful stuff, buildup went without a hitch and I look forward to getting a few N72s to compare them to.
