Does the A12 output volume not fully attenuate like the N72? I never noticed before until today that mine only cut the volume by a few dB. Is this the case? Is there a way to change it?

The trim control on the A12, C84, and J99 cuts the gain by 6 dB when fully counter-clockwise to allow for "in-between" gain adjustments. You can set the N72 up the same way if you like.
