Hey, I just finished my A12 and when it came time to test the voltages on U1, i was getting reverse readings. For example, when I was supposed to be reading -14v, i was getting +14v and vice versa.

I checked over my board and everything was in order so I went ahead and plugged in the op-amp and everything worked fine.

I did some test recordings and it sounds really good - Was I just getting a reversed reading off my DMM when everything is set up correct OR does the preamp still function correctly with reversed voltages?

Let me know if I should fix this, and if I do have to, inform me of what to check over in order to correct it. Like I've said, it sounds really good as is, but i don't want to do any damage.

You probably had the probes reversed on your DMM. The negative side needs to go to ground.

i did...i figured that out just as soon as i finished the original post. thanks though - this pre sounds unbelievable by the way
