Problem with a12

Up till a few weeks ago all my preamps were fine, now I have one a12 that's isn't working properly at all.

I tried switching different power connecters of working modules and the problem followed it.

Right now it's symptoms are it only works on the like 6th step of gain and sounds horrible. When I inspected the module and compared it to the working ones there was no real difference. (I bought these pre assembled)

Before I pay to send it back to SCA I was really hoping if I could find the problem and possibly fix it myself with help from this board.
