I just plugged in my first complete A12... It sounds awesome... One question the output dial... I turn it all the way down and I still hear sound... Is this normal... The sound does not drop significantly.

Thanks!

Hello?

This should be easy for any of you to answer since you guys are happy owners/builders... When you turn the down the output does your A12 go silent or do you still hear audio?

Thank you for your time.

Here's what Tim Ryan wrote in an earlier discussion on this:

The pot on the A12 and J99 is not an output fader, it's a gain trim pot. The maximum attenuation will be 6dB. This allows you to adjust gain "in between" the 5dB steps of the gain control.

That is genius... I have FMR RNP and it has 6 db gain steps with NO inbetweens.
