Op-Amp availability

I want to build some more J99s, but according to your shopping cart, there is an 8 week lead time on the SC99 op-amps. I contacted John Hardy Co. to ask about their 990c, and John informed me that they are out of production; they are spinning up production of a new version that uses surface mount technology, which he anticipates may be available in a few weeks.

Are you converting the SC99 to SMT, as well, hence the shortage?
