Seventh Circle Audio

Actually the project I am working onis that of a rival company, but this forum looked more helpful, and one day I hope to graduate onto building a 7th circle preamp

The instructions for a mod I am doing say I should solder 2 components "in parallel" into the slot for 1 component. How can I do this? Do I just squeeze them in next to each other?

That's it! The leads for both components just need to touch the contact points.
