Noobie questions

Hello I am taking a look at options for diy pre-amps. I have a few questions:

- from all the reviews SCA N72 sounds like a great product. I am curious what an equivalent manufactured pre-amp would cost.
- this one might be a stupid question. If I were to buy the chasis and only one pre-amp kit for now, are there plates to cover the other empty slots? Did not see anything on the SCA website.
- dont see any tube pres on the site. Are there plans to launch?

Thanks in advance

The most direct equivalent is probably the Brent Averill Neve 1073MP preamps. Two channels with power supply retails for $2000.

The front panel is a continuous aluminum plate. Unused holes are filled with attractive black plastic hole plugs.

We have absolutely no plans for a tube preamp. Check out www.hamptone.com
